After a year away during the pandemic, the Flying Moose Classic is back for 2022! Hosted by the Bethel Outing Club and Bethel Village Trails; 20km, 10km, and 2.5km Classic Mass Start. The 20km race is part of the Zak and Club Cup Series. Race start is at 11:00 AM, with the BKL/2.5 km to follow immediately after. Registration Information Cost is $35 for the 20 and 10 km events, $4 for the BKYL/2.5 km. Online registration will be available beginning December 1, 2022 at www.skireg.com/flying-moose-classic. Online registration closes Friday, Feb 4, 2022 at 5pm. Day-of-race entry at the race venue is $40/$5. Race check-in is at The Bethel Inn Resort, 9:00 to 10:30 AM. The race will be held on the Inland Woods and Trail's Bethel Village Trails (BVT), headquartered at The Bethel Inn Resort, in Bethel, ME. Grooming is by PistenBully with snowmobile back-up/touch-up.
