Funding offered for local kids to participate in BKL Festival March 3-5 in Bethel

Mon, February 13, 2017 6:28 AM | Kirk Siegel (Administrator)

From the Bill Koch Festival chairs:

We have had a couple organizations (Bancroft Construction and the Sunday River Ski Club) sponsor the festival by specifically donating money in support of local area kids to participate in the Bill Koch Festival hosted by Bethel Outing Club and sponsored by the New England Nordic Ski Association.

Please, if you have a child or know a child who cannot afford to be part of this event, feel free to have them contact me at BKLfest2017info@gmail.com, and I will make sure we get them a NENSA license and an entry into the weekends festivities!

The intention of this ‘fund’ is to encourage kids in the after school Ski Programs at CPS and Woodstock who may otherwise not participate in such a program - they do NOT have to compete.  They can join the “adventure” category and still enjoy all of the benefits and festivities over the 2 days.

If anyone has any questions or suggestions on this, please feel free to email Tracyn or call/text 207-357-1442

Thanks so much!  http://bklfestival2017.com/
